Newly married actor, Kalu Ikeagwu , was said to have been arrested in front of his house yesterday, Monday, September 26. According to Encomium Magazine, the actor was arrested by security agents, in Ogba area of Lagos around 3:40pm, after a robbery and homicide case. He was said to have been politely and cautiously invited, but when he started arguing with them, the security operatives brought out their guns. Neighbours who tried meddling into the situation stepped back after seeing the guns. 

This made the actor to follow them willingly. He was whisked away in a bus while his wife was crying.

He was released around 8.30pm and when he came back, he explained to his worried neighbours that his personal assistant bought a stolen phone from Computer Village in Ikeja, and the thieves reportedly killed one of the victims of the robbery.

He said the crime happened in Abuja, and the phone was traced to Lagos by the security agents who later came for him since his address and name were used during the purchase. People are however curious to know why Ikeagwu’s name was given at the point of purchase and why his address was also used. What could have happened?
